By creating an account, accessing, or using the Flegnet platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Flegnet is an online platform that connects care seekers with independent caregivers offering services such as elderly care, babysitting, pet care, and housekeeping. Flegnet does not directly provide caregiving services and is not an employer of any caregiver on the platform.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All information provided during registration must be accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Caregiver Responsibilities

• Caregivers are independent service providers, not employees of Flegnet.
• Caregivers must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and availability.
• Caregivers are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Business caregivers must ensure all listed team members meet applicable professional standards.

5. Care Seeker Responsibilities

• Care seekers must provide accurate information about their care needs.
• Care seekers are responsible for verifying caregiver qualifications to their own satisfaction.
• Payment for services must be made through the Flegnet platform as agreed upon in the booking.

6. Bookings and Payments

• All bookings are agreements between care seekers and caregivers. Flegnet facilitates the connection but is not a party to the service agreement.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Stripe. Flegnet charges a service fee on each transaction.
• Cancellation policies may apply. Both parties should review the booking details carefully before confirming.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings for completed bookings. Reviews must be honest, relevant, and comply with our community guidelines. Flegnet reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or violate these terms.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Circumventing the Flegnet platform to arrange services or payments off-platform.
• Providing false or misleading information.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users.
• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.

9. Limitation of Liability

Flegnet provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our platform, including but not limited to the quality of caregiving services, disputes between users, or any loss or injury. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flegnet's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

Flegnet reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
